The Koch people are ancient inhabitant in South Asia. In the present times they lives in Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Bhotan. The Koches of Bangladesh lives in the heart of Bangladesh near Dhaka- Tangail, Gazipur and Mymensingh district in Bhowal-Madhupur garh(forest land). Besides this, they lives in Jamalpur, Rongpur, Dinajpur, Nilphary, Joypurhat, Ponchaghor, Lalmonirhat and a small pocket of iland along the Indian border in Sherpur and Sunamjong district. These Koch speak a Sino-Tibetan language. Among the Sino-Tibetan Koch these are many groups sus as Koch, Koch Tintekia, Koch Satparia, Koch Harigaya, Koch Wannng, Koch Rava and Koch Rajbanshi. In the past, they were a golden time. They had a lot of cultivated land and hunt the forest animals. But in the present time they lost their cultivated land and own culture specially in Bangladesh .So they need a Orzanization to help them, for standard living in future.
